Director's Statement:

Encounter at the Winter's Door is a reflection on the types of moments and encounters that occur in my hometown, Puerto Williams, the southernmost town in the world. As one of the most isolated and non-industrialized regions in the world, Puerto Williams allows for a lifestyle that is peaceful and based on intimate coexistence with nature. In this film, I aim to represent a way of perceiving the world that is not bound by production-oriented time constraints and where people and animals can encounter each other as equals, even if only for a brief and dreamy moment.
